The Countdown Continues. The "Actress of the Aughts" moves forward with one very hot 60-year-old, two out-of-control teen-agers, and two indie queens in the process of expanding their gifts.
[Editors Aside: I've had an amazing time doing these pages. Seriously. It's been a surprising process for me. I've loved examining all these careers and reliving the movies in my head). I hope you've been enjoying the process as well. Let me know what you think about #30 through #26... and whether I should dare risk an Actors list as well.]

I'm totally loving your Favorite Actress countdown. And I'd just love for you to do one for Actors as well. Keep on the great work, Nat.
Nathaniel-I'm already anticipating the actors' list, and can't wait to see who will top this list-will it be Moore, Winslet, Uma or some other scren goddess?
Yeah, I think it's already obvious that I LOVE this list (considering I'm blatantly stealing the concept from you for my own blog sometime down the track). An actor's one would be interesting, I'd steal that one too!
Maybe I should do the actor one first myself so it doesn't look like I'm copying you like it will with the actresses.
Although some of your ladies won't appear on my list like Rachel Wood and Keener because I haven't seen any of their >2000 movies (except Upside of Anger for Wood).
I'm just so extremely glad that somebody actually acknowledges that Lohan is a good actress and not just an annoying "teen actress".
She won my award for Best Individual Line Reading (er, I steal so much from you) with her screech or "You're ruining my life!!" in Freaky Friday. If ever multiple !s were in order, then it was.
(this was longer than I intended)

Lohan's "you're RUINING my LIFE!!!" was great indeed. I really think she was robbed of a globe nom for that film as much as for Mean Girls. If only she didn't annoy me so much now...
Can I just randomly add (though it doesn't relate at all) that I'm suddenly very excited again for Brokeback Mtn.? That trailer brings me to tears when I let it. I really think Ledger will be a major story upon release... he looks terrific in it, substantially better than Jake, I think. Very very excited, I am.
I've always been a Ledger fan since I saw him in the Aussie movies Two Hands and Blackrock and find it absolutely hilarious that he may be on the verge of an Oscar nod for a movie about gay cowboys.
If somebody had told me this 5 years ago after I saw (and fell in love with) 10 Things I Hate About You I don't think I would still be alive.
(In defence, I was 15 when 10 Things... was released, okay!)
An actors' list is a must, surely? You and us readers have list addiction, and you can't just go cold turkey on us.
