Jose here with a question...
Who's your favorite real person/animated character duo? (Even Paula Abdul and that cat from the "Opposites Attract" video count...)

It definitely has to be Bob Hoskins and Roger Rabbit.
You mean Gene's butt & Jerry, right?
Love the penguins and Mary Poppins BUT! I have to go with Angela Lansbury with any creature in Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
i'm drawing a blank. But if we're going with a Rabbit, it's got to be Jessica Rabbit, not Roger.
Angela Landsbury making the shoes dance with her in BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS still makes me smile.
but the Happy song with the Blue Bird in 500 DAYS OF SUMMER gts my vote today.
Cristhian beat me to it. Julie, Dick and the penguins. Okay that came out wrong ;).
I'm going to cheat for the purposes of originality and say Bunty Bailey and a pencil-sketched Morten Harket in the music video for "Take on Me."
Ooh, Take On Me is an awesome choice. But I'm going with Esther Williams and Tom & Jerry in Million Dollar Mermaid.
Dick Van Dyke & the penguins!
I forgot to say mine haha and it's not Gene & Jerry, but actually Donald Duck and Carmen Miranda in "The Three Caballeros".
Kitsch at its most fabulous!
i concer with nathaniel fully...jessica "i'm not bad i'm just drawn that way" rabbit over roger any day of the week
Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Stewie in the episode "The Critic in the Cabernet", from the series "Bones". It is a hard thing to have your manhood challenged by a mouthy infant/toddler.
Nicole Kidman/ Renee Zellweger in "Cold Mountain."
Zellweger was playing a cartoon character, right?
Ohh . . .Morten Harket, good choice! Be still my 12-year-old-heart! But I'm going to go with "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" with the U.S. Navy. I loved that movie when I was a kid.
All of my favorite moments are from WFRR:
The illicit photos of Marvin Acme (I had no idea that was Stubby Kaye! Thanks, IMDb.) & Jessica Rabbit literally playing patty-cake.
Eddie Valient and his overeager bullets.
The nightmare-inducing big reveal of Judge Doom's true nature. This counts as a half-and-half, right?

While we're on this topic, did anyone ever see Cool World? When I was younger, I spotted it in the video store and whined until my dad let me rent it. Terrible movie, terribly inappropriate for 8-year-old me.
For childhood nostalgia, Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny in Space Jam. I know...I know.
Mine is Flora McGrath (Anna Paquin) and her father, who was struck by lightning, so that he lit up like a torch. And at the same moment her father was struck dead, her mother was struck dumb. She never - spoke - another - word.
Omg, everyone's answers are awesome. From The Piano (great movie) to Cool World (terrible-but-deliciously-dated movie), from Roger Rabbit to Gene Kelly (*so handsome*) in his best scene ever.
I don't really have a favorite, but does anyone remember a movie from the 80's that was partial animation? It had this little animated redhead girl in a yellow dress I think, and I remember the animation being placed over real-life footage of forests and chipmunks and nature and shit. I didn't like it but day-care forced it on us. If anyone knows what it is that would be awesome! Thanks.
Bailey - You're thinking of "Dot And The Kangaroo". To this day I still occasionally get the frog song stuck in my head.
these answers are so funny. i love you all
Lily Tomlin as Snow White -- with birds and deer -- in Nine to Five.
anything that gets gene to turn around gets my vote.
