Which actor or actress...
... do you most wish would play something dangerous and monstrous like a vampire, serial killer or malevolent ghost?

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Julianne Moore
Amy Adams.
She did kind of pull it off on a guest appearance on the TV show Smallville earlier in the decade, where she played a ravenous, willing-to-eat-anything high schooler.
But playing a malevolent role would certainly change my thinking of Adams as a goody-two-shoes kind of actress.
Or Kristen Bell.
She went ruthless as a grifter in a guest stint on Deadwood that was just chilling to me. And kind of strange to see since she doesn't often go on the bitch path. She'd work as a serial killer from out of nowhere.
J Lo. Oh wait, she's already played that part. She's sucked the sexy out of her husband.
I'd like to see Julia Roberts as a serial killer in a Sam Raimi movie.
Off-topic: I respectfully disagree with your grade for Broken Embraces, especially because the B- somehow equals it with Antichrist (C+), and I think there's a great distance between them. And I don't think Broken Embraces is worse than District 9 (B+), either.
It's probably one of the movies that really needs a second viewing.
Sandra Bullock
January Jones as a sexy, steamy vampiress. She's certainly got the complexion down.
Julianne Moore. She would be terrific.
Amy Adams all the way! Gr8 idea Henry
If Jon Hamm played a sex-starved vampire I would die and come back like three times just during previews.
Tim Roth
I want Julie Christie to play an evil, silver-haired vixen. God, I'd love to see that.
Jennifer Aniston beacuse she needs to get out of cliche roles!
Joan Plowright. She's so seemingly warm and sweet and it would be a wonderful contrast. If handled properly, Plowright in this type of role could come off as very terrifying.
Kristen Chenoweth!
As always - Meryl Streep as a Vampire. She would KILL!!!!!
Jake Gyllenhaal as a sexual deviant/serial killer! It's those eyes!!!
Elizabeth Taylor as a malevolent ghost!!
CAMERON DIAZ.
the know nothing that's kind of a sick answer. I think i'm going to have nightmares.
mame YES. what an inspired choice. Let's see Julie get really bloodthirsty
Streep!
Most people are choosing ladies! There are a lot of good ones. I would like to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tony Leung.
Angela Lansbury.
She's said she'd like to one more great movie, let's get her to go evil.
Perhaps as a dowager cannibal (an homage to Sweeney). She could sing them to sleep before she ate them. That would make me very happy.

"I want Julie Christie to play an evil, silver-haired vixen. God, I'd love to see that."
Let's say her co star was Jane Fonda as another evil vixen. Druel.
Re: Amy Adams, she is divine in Cruel Intentions 2...
Suggestions: Kathleen Turner as Jabba the Hut
OK- I'm game for an ensemble piece: Angela, Julie, Joan and Jane...
Members of a long disbanded secret sorority (each member has a particular a forbidden/malevolent/murderous prediliction) must reunite to wreak necessary vengeance.
I want that movie now.
Maggie Cheung!
Oh, and JGL can be their hot young minion. He wears black jeans, wife beaters, and goes around doing things for them.
@RJ: I think each evil dame should have a special minion, a hot one. (BTW, I've added Rita Moreno and maybeCicely Tyson to the cast.)
I think it's time. Nathaniel,I had a dream of you 2 months ago. Rachel Mcadams was a serial killer in 1900(?) London and you were after her. You were both in "crouching tiger hidden dragon" mode, jumping against walls and all. I'm not kidding.
Anyway, I would say, Judi Dench, Sarah Jessica Parker, Evan Rachel Wood, Keira Knightley, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tilda Swinton and oh God, I have to include a man. Michael Shannon.
How about Jennifer Connelly? She always gets typecast as gooey-eyed sentimental roles, let's see a filmmaker explore her dark side.
I'm a big believer in casting against type...therefore my answer is that Tom Hanks should play a total evil SOB along the lines of Henry Fonda's Frank in "Once Upon a Time in the West" or, failing that, a James Bond villain.
i was hoping meryl streep would have gotten the role of mary surratt in robert redford's upcoming film about the assassination of abraham lincoln.
If not Meryl Streep (already mentioned by several others) as a serial killer, then Toni Collette as some frightening, unstoppable creature. Lisa Kudrow would be great too.
JULIA ROBERTS - i just wanna see what she'll do with it. plus even though she's a legend already, she still needs to expand her range- so her movies would also be remembered 50 years from now- not just her megastardom and not just because of the fact that she is the most famous actress in Hollywood the past 50 years.
Owen Wilson.
Jenna Fischer.
Please no more vampires in Hollywood !!!
What if Amy Sedaris were playing a serial killer. Not in a comedic way, in the serious way that we get terribly freaked out when Robin Williams pays a creepy character.
I wouldn't want to see her as a vampire though, it would even sillier than Parker Posey in BLADE III
You know who would be a great vampire...Meryl Streep!!!!
OMG Stinkylulu ANGELA LANDSBURY IS BRILLIANT!!!!
Stinkylulu, you are totally hysterical!! I love your ideas.
Samantha Morton! anne hathaway, and actors eric dane or shia lebeouf
Samantha Morton! anne hathaway, and actors eric dane or shia lebeouf
I'd love to see Amy Sedaris in any substantial role really, but good mention Chris!
Jerri Blank for life!
Also I reckon Julia Roberts could be super shit scary.
Lisa Kudrow...as Pheobe Buffay
hippie by day, blood sucking vampire by night! lol
Angela Bassett
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Winona Ryder.
Amy Adams NEEDS a role like this...
...plus Tilda Swinton needs to play stark raving, psycho crazy, murdering serial killer. that would be EPIC.
Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood in HARRY POTTER) or Rachel Hurd Wood (from PERFUME and the upcoming DORIAN GRAY) would both make wonderful vampires or werewolves, at least imho.
Emily Blount and Elijah Wood would also be good.
And Lacey Chabert!
Isabelle Huppert would make the best vampire in the history of movies. She already bathes in the blood of virgins and eats little babies in real life, so why not making a documentary out of it? Haneke or LVT should direct.
(btw I just realised how much I'd like to see a vampire movie by either of them)
For some reason, I really want to see Jessica Lange as a vampire. Here's hoping she gets "August: Osage County"...
Paul Rudd. In the most ironic way possible.
pony LOL. it's scaryfunny because it seems so true!
Actually, didn't Angela Landsbury play a vampire - of sorts - already? Not a literal one, perhaps, but I dare you to watch her kiss her "son" (Lawrence Harvey) in The Manchurian Candidate and not see something vampiric in the scene - in her entire performance, in fact, as she literally sucks the life out of him. Pure awesomeness, that perf.
That said, StinkyLulu's idea of a secret sorority is really growing on me.
Kate Winslet going all serial killer. No not April mean, or Hana tortured or Clementine bitchy I mean full out Countess Merteuil / The Last Seduction crazy, psychotic don't care killer woman. That would be very, very interesting.
And to that movie Stinky Lulu came up with - Add Jessica Lange/Maggie Smith/Vanessa Redgrave to that list and this could be one of the best casts ever.
Stinkylulu-seriously? Where is the fund to get that movie made, because I have to see it.
I'm sick of vampires.
Anyway, a young actress I'd like to see darker is Natalie Portman.
I like the Julie-Jane combo, so I'll throw Julie Andrews into the mix- Jane can pull off an English accent, I assume, and they're all in the same age range, so how about a Heathers-type black comedy for Senior Citizens, with Julie-Jane-Julie as three nasty triplets willing to do anything to get that Social Security check?
