Blue Steel Reborn!

I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking, 'Wow, you're ridiculously good looking. Maybe you could do that for a career.
-Zoolander
Zoolander looks borrowed from ONTD

Question: If vampires can't see their own reflection, how did Edward (Twilight) know he could be "professionally good looking"? Yes, Robert Pattison is just as versatile as Derek Zoolander! We hear he's working on a new look for the sequel but you 'you gotta tame the beast before you let it out of its cage.'

Edward looks so frail in the movie stills but then I saw him on cover of Entertainment Weekly and...okay. :)

lol, i'm guessing that's a backhanded diss on Pattinson?

Shame. He's so cute too.

Did you read about his 5 favourite films?

I'm sorry, but putting Corky Romano on the same page as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is embarassing!

Interesting. Jeffrey Wells just posted something and he thought Pattinson was great in twilight. I assumed he'd rip him a new one.

Seriously, what gives!

Wells what at my screening -- i guess we had different experiences.

perhaps this is shaping into a divisive season.

in all seriousness RP maybe did about as good as you can do with that sort of part. But staring at people for 2 hours is hard to do in an interesting way.

Its looking that way. Variety and Ebert just posted their reviews (hint, hint) - one positive, one meh.

I think i'll sit this one out and wait for 'Little Ashes' to form an opinion on Pattinson's talent (or lack thereof).

Forget Cuckoo's, how do have both Corky Romano and a Godard, ANY Godard on the same list?

Does he actually like Corky Romano for real though? His reasons for liking the film doesnt exactly come across that way. 'I love how Chris Kattan just stripped his whole career in one movie'. The movie made him piss his pants? Come on!!

This is the same guy that reportedly said he hasnt washed his hair in six weeks. After then apparantly it kind of washes itself.

Pattinson's an interesting character, i'll give him that.

Variety and Ebert are both listed as Rotten over at RT.com.

There's also negative reviews from Chicago Trib and Contra Costa Times, and a "meh" one from a Florida paper.

20 to 30 percent RT rating, I'd say. I wonder if this will get any Razzie buzz?

I'm surprised Eberts review was put as rotten - its not really negative at all.

His two and a half stars are always "thumbs down", so to speak.

I wish the sun would rise on Twillight.

I'm over it.

In the Twilight universe, vampires have reflections. And they don't die in sunlight. Nor can you kill them by just staking them. It's gonna take a whole lot more to bring this one down.
