Tim & Helena

Just your average Hollywood couple.

On a slightly more serious note: I never saw this coming in the mid 80s when discovering them both: He, the director of Pee Wee's Big Adventure. She all Lucy Honeychurch'ed in Merchant/Ivory fare. No one could have seen this future.

more from this shoot @ Helena World

Next up for the couple: 2010's Alice in Wonderland (Helena is the "off with their heads" Red Queen, Anne Hathaway is her sister in White)

Could we please see Helena play a sane person again. When was the last time she was sane?

Although she did a good job in Sweeny Todd, i don't want to see her as Catwoman!

i love them together in all their crazy, gothic, brilliance.
i just wish their professional collaberations were more like burton's with johnny depp. from EDWARD SCISSORHANDS to SWEENEY TODD, their work together is some of the best of either's career. other than mrs. lovitt, helena keeps getting saddled with thankless supporting roles. i mean, don't you sleep with the director to get a star vehicle? i want to see lucy honeychurch as ED WOOD.

That entire photoshoot is probably enough to scar a thousand toddlers for life.

good god!!

Now if Burton would just channel that creativity into an original idea/script things could get back on the right track.

Burton looks like Jeffrey Tambor here.

They are crazy... but did anyone else hear they are doing a Burton retro at MOMA in like 2009-2010!? That's even crazier...

@chris na taraja Helena was a (relatively) sane and normal person in Conversations with Other Women with Aaron Eckhart, and it only came out about three years ago. It's fantastic. I recommend it highly.

I just rewatched "Fight Club" and fell in love with her all over again.

That's so cool that Tim Burton went as Julian Schnabel for Halloween.
