The Invisible Man
This following list is dedicated to the openly gay "Chris Hughes" in THE SOCIAL NETWORK, portrayed by Patrick Mapel (pictured left with Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg in the movie). Because this excellent movie chooses to focus so tightly on its intellectual property lawsuits, fraternity "punch" lust, and that central squabbling sextet of Ivy League straight boys (Zuckerberg, Saverin, Narendra, Parker, and "the Winklevii"), it apparently didn't have much room for diversity; the women and the gays involved in the Facebook story don't get much attention.

Wait...the Winklevoss twins are straight?
I'd add Santiago the ghost from Undertow. Sexiest gay this season!!
Great article!
Yeah, Scot Pilgrim was awesome re: the gay roommate. Perhaps he needn't be so obsessed with EVERY hot young male but i don't mind that much since i'm kinda that way too. oops :p
Woo for Wallace! He's like my spirit animal.
Great list. I already queued a few up on my Netflix since I hadn't even heard a few of these films!
Awesome write up, Nathaniel! i'm gonna have to catch "Undertow" when it comes out on DVD for sure.
I'd also add "Jimmy" & "Lars" from the 'neo-nazis meets Brokeback' Denmark drama "BROTHERHOOD". a fairly strong film with genuine carnality and fine acting.
Great list - but I especially loved your Top 3
what about "Howl"?
Wallace!!! (Kieran Culkin) Scott Pilgrim's roomie!! Kieran is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo hoooottttttt....
I did not see HOWL. oopsie.
LOL, no doubt it is another masterpiece by David Fincher after Fight Club.
As to say BEST LGBT, Personally, Chris Hughes played by Patrick Mapel seems lack of masculinity in the movie though.
