Actress Filled Out
Er... that didn't sound right. Just a heads up that the Oscar Page for this year's BEST ACTRESS contenders is appropriately filled out. Should give you a better idea of what's in my head than just the head-scratching names...

Might want to make a correction for Pesci's listing on the Supporting Actor page. You have him down for 1 nom/1 win. He actually has two nominations for Best Supporting Actor. Raging Bull and Goodfellas, and you of course know he won for the latter.
I don't think Winslet is the lock that everyone is making her out to be. I applaud you for predicting Judd but as for the Beyonce thing, you say this happens all the time (like Halle Berry, Charlize Theron I suppose you mean?) But I think Beyonce is more like Madonna, no one will take her seriously as an actress. If the film is a hit, then a Globe nom should be easy but Oscar will be far away. Isn't this only the second sucidal artist for Kidman? How is that too many. And I would say her overexposure is over. Considering her engagment and how low key she has been and how in your face her ex husband has been about his engagment, I think it just makes her look better. Speaking of over exposure, that is exactly why I don't have Blanchett anywhere near my predictions. Way too many movies out this year and no one seems to care THAT much for her anyway.
But for the most part, I like your predictions.
On Blanchett? Veronica Gueren (sp?) and The Missing. But in my own predix I didn't have either of her three movies hitting big, so...
Winslet and Bening for the Oscar? wow.
On Kidman? She is definitely over the over-exposed period. Bewitched fizzled and she's drawn back. But she'll be back.
On Beyonce? I totally see her as a contender. How can you not? If the film hits big then ANYONE is a contender.
Love the pictures you've got for Dunst and Kidman. Dunst looks maniacally evil (but i love her so).
Anna Pacquin I never figured... hmmm. Child Oscar Winner grows up story angle? I can see it now...
I will say Kidman is very much over the overexposure, since last year, she has kept a very low profile, giving very few interviews, she has been on few magazine covers either in the Vogue/Vanity Fair mode and tabloids, I mean, she has been in New York since April and I have only seen about 3 sets of pics of her off the set and there isn't much media exposure in Nashville where she lives, now, so I think it will be very much OK, word on FUR especially her performance has been brilliant, I have only read one review that wasn't keen on her but about 2 or 3 others that I have read have been raves. I think she will knock her performance out of the park like she did in Dogville and Birth. Fur is about Diane Arbus but the suicide has nothing to do with it, this is not a traditional biopic, like The Hours, it is fiction mixed with facts, it is called an Fur an Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, it focuses on about 4 months of her life when she went from wife to artist.
Blanchette will have the same problem she had a few years ago after her first nomination, she had 2 to 3 movies out every year after it, all the movies but an Ideal Husband fizzled both critically and commercially. Babel is getting raves in Cannes but it seems her role is very, very tiny but she will be very much overexposed this year.
