OK, who is this? Why do I not know?Nathaniel, wanna check out part one of my "two films I need to post on" two-part series? 'Tis on the blog.
I have a feeling it's Gene Hackman in The Conversation
Yeah, I guess that does look like Gene Hackman. He is so "everyman"ish that it can be hard to know when it's really him.
Hey Nathaniel, have you listened to Andrew Bird's masterful "The Mysterious Production of Eggs" yet?If not, you should -- even the cool kids, like Gene Hackman, are doing it.
That is indeed Gene in The Conversation. A movie I liked but didn't love. :(
This photo is from a great and unnerving sequence. It's funny, because everyone worships the first two Godfathers, but The Conversation, Coppola's best, slipped by in between.
AH! This is definitely The Conversation. This movie makes me wet.
Well didn't Coppola pull a Soderbergh in 75? Nominated for both Godfather Part II and The Conversation?
