That movie is so wrong......and brilliant
South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut is a masterpiece, this however... not so much. Bits and pieces were funny but it wasn't as great a whole as the South Park movie.
I agree with Glenn, excpet for the fact I stopped watching 15 minutes in. It just wasn't funny, and that makes me sad.
But South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut is the greatest comedy ever made. :D
I know there's something very wrong with me, but I have rarely laughed harder and also been more taken with the satirical genius of the "Cocks and Pussies" speech at the end of this film. Another favorite moment is how they linger way too long on the death of "Tim Robbins".
I have to give some love to Team America. I think its one of the most brilliant political satires of our generation. The use of puppets alone was a stroke of sheer genius.
I tend to think of this film as a brilliant failure - excellent political satire and genre parody, but not always a sustaining entertainment. As a formal experiment, though, it just rocks.
