Princess Raccoon by Seijun Suzuki. Ziyi Zhang stars in the bizarre musical love story about... um what the title says. Reviews are filled with adjectives like "insane", "hilarious", "risky", "joyous", "colorful", "lively" and "hallucinatory". So, um, yeah: putting that on the DVD queue!

The Best HBO comedy, Extras the second season also came out today (I don't know if it counts, but it has Ian McKellen and Daniel Radcliffe along with other "stars")
I'd add 'exhausting' and 'tedious' to those adjectives.
Your comments re: The Last Mimzy are hilarious, for two reasons:
1. I feel the same way.
2. I actually missed that bullet the first time I read the post, and a couple more times when I skimmed it over. I only just now noticed it.
