Which movie job...

...would you most like to be trudging off to this morning, instead of your actual job?

What would a two-minute montage of your day job look like? Would it be this sparkly?

Not so much a movie job - I just want Nicole Kidman's real-life job, thank you. (Sans husbands and kids, thank you.)

Getting to say whatever I want on national television like Peter Finch in Network.

Well, if I could skip the last few minutes of the film, of course.

I'd be Christine Baranski's assistant on the set of "Chubby Rain". Sure, the pay wouldn't be great but she could regale me stories of her days in the theatah.

I would like to be Tom Hanks in BIG. Heck yeah.

Even though he was depressed while doing it I would love John Cusack's job as owner of Championship Vinyl in High Fidelity. But only if I got to watch Dick and Barry fight it out all day long. :)

Cinematographer. Looking at gorgeous people and making them look even more gorgeous. They wouldn't even need to pay me.

I'd like to work the rather tedious job that the character Brian does in Mike Leigh's Naked. So long as Johnny comes to visit.

And then I'd get to sleep in.

Hmmm…

I’d take over for THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY’s Dickie Greenleaf any day… though I’d much prefer Peter Smith-Kingsley as my prime arm-candy over Marge and Tom. ;)

In terms of an actual J-O-B, I’d love to shower with (er, work with) Carter on DEEP BLUE SEA’s research facility Aquatica.

Ryan has a good pick with Dickie Greenleaf's sybaritic existence in The Talented Mr. Ripley. No wonder Ripley decided to take it for himself! (I love the 5 Ripley books too).

I think I'd chose Amanda Woods' job as a maker of movie film trailers in the escapist Nancy Meyers film The Holiday. Great job, great house, and my assistants are Kathryn Hahn and John Krasinski! What fun.
