The Sound of (Impromptu) Music

For anyone who ever dreamed of being adopted into The Von Trapp Family singers, wearing Julie Andrews curtain line of play clothes, or just frolicking in Central Station... This is for you.

Bliss. What a great way to start the day.

Later today: Rosengje's final reports from ShoWest, and yes... your collective Best Actress predictions.

Love it, love it, LOVE IT.

My favorite movie mixed with instantaneous dance breaks = MY DREAM!

Totally made my Friday.

Well this brought much-needed sunshine to an otherwise dreary and rainy day.

Thanks.

Nice to see this video on the Film Experience. Here in Belgium the video is already a hit for 2 weeks :).

My sides hurt, that was SO AWESOME!
I loved it when the ordinary people joined in. I wonder if this is the same group who organized the "I Need A Napkin" mall food court song&dance.
"The Sound Of Music" is on my Secret Shame list. I'm waiting to see it on the big screen somewhere.

What excellent fun! Great way to start off my Friday night!

Thx for sharing that with us Nat!

(now I have to fight off the urge to put on The Sound of Music instead of going out on the town...)

Although I have a feeling this kind of guerrilla theater is going to get old pretty quickly if it's duplicated too much, for right now . . . awesome-sauce.

What do you mean "dream"?
Isn't this what everyone's mornings are like?

If that ever happens at Grand Central Station, you can bet your curtains-originated play clothes I'll jump right in.

My favorite part is the young guy in the suit who seems to be hovering on the fringes, and then suddenly is busting a move right there with the rest of them.

Also that the first dancer is a grown man, and the second a little girl!

katey i have no idea how you picked a favorite part (so much to choose from) but those moments are bliss, yes.
