Requests

I know I wasn't here last Monday but y'all have been shy lately with the commenting --what gives? Leave your requests for next Monday's Request Topic in the comments. Everyone seemed to enjoy the kickoff of this so let's get it going again.

previous requests: Best Performance by a Child Actor (for John T), Classics I Haven't Seen (for Glenn) Favorite Animals (for Cal) Cher (for David) and The Sound of Music (for Becky)

I guess this is kind of a request. Are you planning to see United 93? Do you have any thoughts on the film's existence in general? I have been wondering what you think about this, actually.

Honest, Nathaniel, I've been putting real thought into a request, but...the truth is, I'm generally happy (or shocked in an happy way) about whatever topics you choose. For a change of pace, though, how about listing something crazy unpredictable, like your ten favorite board games? Or...your ten favorite roles Dolly Parton should play in future Hollywood movies (Lady MacBeth, anyone)?

Hmmm...

Three requests:

1. What miniseries do you think equal the best of big screen films?

2. What genre of film would make a comeback?

3. If you could reincarnate a deceased actor in their prime to unite them with a current actor, who would it be?

Can you maybe do like your top twenty favorite performances. Maybe even expand it into a Top 100. I wanna see it because I hated Premiere's list. Also, when are you going to finish your personal cannon.

dont know if anyone has suggested this (would be surprise if they hadn't) but hows about your least favorite performances by your most favorite actors/tresses.

Guess its kind of an obvious one...but would be fun to read!

Do a family of actors--the Fondas, the Carradines, the Lunts, the Sheen-Estevezes, the Ritters, etc.

I have an excellent idea if you're willing to do some sort of cross-promotion.

My entry Wednesday is entitled "Unreal Estate" and it has to do with the most impressive apartments seen in the movies. (I saw Just Like Heaven on DVD last weekend.)

Here's what I have so far:

- Reese Witherspoon's apartment in Just Like Heaven

- Andie McDowell's apartment in Green Card

- The bachelor penthouse in Three Men and a Baby

- Jack Nicholson's apartment in As Good As It Gets: not as impressive as the above three, but he fixed up the guest room nice for Greg Kinnear.

- TV honorable mention: Frasier Crane's apartment on Frasier (where Daphne's wing is bigger than most city apartments)

I can hold the entry until next Monday if you like. Reply here today (Tuesday) and let me know. If not, I'd still love your readers' input.

I just saw Mrs Brown for the first time the other night and it gave me an idea: favorite performance by an actor/actress playing a monarch!

neel mehta, i love your idea but go on ahead without me. i'll anxiously read it --and link up-- but my memory (spotty) won't help there ;)

I don't have a suggestion for this feature, but how about a suggestion for A History Of...

Musicians turned actors.

I dunno. I've been loving Cher and Frank Sinatra for the last week.
