I want her to make a comeback so badly.

Looking great, Juli !

I just saw another great-looking actress, Jodie Foster, she was on French TV to promote Nim's Island. Her french is flawless, she has no accent whatsoever, she should work more with French director, like Ozon for instance.

2008 is so gonna be a banner year for her with me. I've seen The Hours and Far from Heaven for the first time this year (!!!!!!!!) and a lot of her other films have been sliding up my queue lately, and I've finally completely realized her brilliance in Children of Men enough to nominate her in Supporting Actress where she so freaking belongs, and - of course - BLINDNESS is likely gonna kick major ass in my 2008 awards.

I'm starting to get why people love her, despite her recent drought. And I'm pretty sure I'm almost there too. :)

Jimmy, wasn't it done on a soundstage?

Wasn't the Marilyn Monroe skirt thing supposed to have happened at the Flat Iron Bldg? (23rd & B'way) - it was famous back in the day because its shape caused (causes) wind currents that would raise ladies skirts.

Thank you "j.d.", for mentioning her "Children Of Men" performance, it really was a wonderful subtle supporting performance, and although her character dies quite soon her presence stays all over the movie.
