definitely up there. I think the top 3 would have to be

NEWMAN & TAYLOR -cat
WOOD & BEATTY -splendor
and...
ok that's it. it's only a top two.

Such a great movie. One of my all timers.

And, yes, BEST. LOOKING. SCREEN. PAIR. EVER. Without a doubt.

I need to see this movie again! I've just seen it on stage in Melbourne - and I adored it. But from memory, the film is quite sanitized - whereas the play is quite bold and confronting.

But great quote - and great screen shot!

I really want to see the Melbourne version. Essie Davis, right?

crossover man --your memory is correct. I'd love to see a great production of this onstage but I've never been because the ones that come up sometimes don't get the best reviews. ... though i probably shoulda seen that Ned Beatty Broadway revival.

Glenn, yes it's Essie Davis as Maggie and Martin Henderson as Brick. Both are brilliant. Yes, it's the same Martin Henderson that has a terrible movie career. But on stage... in a towel... he's quite wonderful.
