'A Beautiful Mind' gave a lot of extras a pay day.

Something Gotta Give allowed a lot of people to imagine what like would be like if Jack Nicholson had a heart attack and was out of comission for awhile.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead has Marisa Tomei's smoking hot bod on full display. That's gotta be a good thing, right?

michael p you'll never believe this (so random) but I KNOW one of the extras from A Beautiful Mind. We used to work together in NYC and he was so excited to be sitting in the classroom pretending to learn from eyelash fluttering, finger waving, eye blinking, awkward Mr. Russell Crowe.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall actually inspired me to break up with someone.

At least Christopher Columbus had the good sense to cast Alan Rickman as Snape in the first Harry Potter. I think it's just about the only sensible thing that the man has ever done.

In "Crash," Paul Haggis actually shows some restraint with his blatant "Magnolia" thieving and doesn't have the characters singing along to "In the Deep" at the end of the movie. That's nice, right?

The Britney Spears parody moment was funny enough for me to laugh one second... then there was this rest of a god awful movie... :( but at least that moment was fun ...

The movie i was talking about was "Meet the Spartans"

CRASH...blatantly honest title. Gotta appreciate that ;-)

Some of those chocolates (in Chocolat) look really scrummy.

Funny Games didn't signal a horrific career end to any of the actors involved.

Michael Parsons said...

I am so glad he got paid for that. Good for him. See something nice happened out of that movie.

Now to get back to obsessing about my disappointment in 'Hard Candy'. WHY!!!!!

The art direction from What Dreams May Come is rather sublime.
Can't say anything positive about the rest of it, though.

As creepy as I feel agreeing with a 15-year-old on this point, I must.

Also, at least The Gingerdead Man only had a 62 minute running time.

When Ben Kingsley has that amazing brief laugh in "A Sound of Thunder."

Funniest thing I've ever seen or heard.

I saw 'because I said so' with my mum, brother and sister. We were able to bond with each other over how much we all HATED it.

Richard Jenkins is awesome in THE VISITOR. The rest of the film is pretty drab though...

The Black Dahlia has Scarlett's breasts, Hartnett's mouth, and the good sense to arrest Hilary Swank.

You Got Served had some fun dancing in it, but other than that it's the second worst movie I have ever seen (I can't think of anything good about National Security).

That Tinkerbell POV shot in the theater in Finding Neverland was flashy but sort of neat, and it did conjure something of what makes theater magical, even when it isn't great.

Burn this.

Rowan Atkinson's delivery of "I'm winning, I'm winning" in Rat Race gave me and my little sister a in-joke that has lasted for years.

The young attress should have been nominated for Oscar.

Anonymous said...

In La Vie en Rose, I think the young attress should have been consided for an Oscar as she was the best bit of the film. Mike from UK.

The last entry was from Mike in London not Adam.
