What's your siblings favorite movie?
Do you know? My big sister says Beauty & The Beast but I had to ask. [My brother's could not be reached for comment.]

My nine-year-old sister: “a toss up between TransAmerica, Mean Girls and…American Beauty.” She should get her grubby little hands out of my DVD collection from now on.
The Princess Bride, Zoolander, and The Wedding Singer, among others... She has endeared a number of films with the title "favorite movie".
my 22 year-old sister's favorite movie.... 'The Princess Diaries'.... i shake my head as she shames my family name.
hee
well my sister is in her 40s and her favorite is Disney so... it's common ;)
2 brothers:
Sam, 20- Rocky, GoodFellas, Predator
Joey, 22- Raiders of the Lost Ark, Top Gun, Rio Bravo
Well, I have five (younger) sisters and one (younger)brother, so collecting all that info may take a while.
My 20 year old sister, I'm not sure what her favorite movie is but I'll go out on a limb and say "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas."
My 14 year old sister has these listed under Favorite Movies on Facebook:
Willy Wonka...
The Departed
Snakes on a Plane
Spiceworld
Clueless
Empire Records
Juno
Superbad
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
Eclectic, to say the least :)
He would readily acknowledge that neither is a contender for the best film ever made, but my 28 year-old brother's favourite movie is a toss-up between "A River Runs Through It" and "Fried Green Tomatoes."
I don't disapprove. We watched them together at the cinema when I was eight, and we watch them together now. I don't mind admitting that we weep buckets at the end of both films.
I don't think my 21 year old sister has a favorite movie, but if she does, it might be The Notebook or The Butterfly Effect or Sex and the City.
My 15 year old sister really loves I Heart Huckabee's...but for a long time it was Bring It On.
little woamn my 22 yr old sis who knows winonas role inside out and casino for my 30 yr old sis who knows sharon's part by heart.
my 7 yr old neice loves moulin rouge and whenver she sees a pic of nicole kidman shouts "satine" at the top of her voice, see nat the young ones get early training in my family.
My brother's fave is "Farewell My Concubine" ( such a lame english title ) . My late sister's fave was Tsai Ming-liang's "Vive L'Amour".
my two siblings are as addicted to movies as i am.
my older sister considers "sunset boulevard" as her favorite movie. she always has a grand time mimicking gloria swanson.
my older brother, on the other hand, is crazy about "Himala", a movie from the Philippines about a faith healer. i think this film won in a recent cnn poll as the best asian film of all time. i have yet to watch it.
Two younger brothers.
10-Year-Old: Shrek (He does what Will Smith does in I Am Legend, it's very annoying by now)
13-Year-Old: High School Musical (He doesn't have very good tastes in movies--He has to go watch every one of those Epic/Scary movie flicks)
my brother loves Amelie which I'm not that fond of. Luckily, he also enjoys Lost in Translation :).
He hates Moulin Rouge! though...so I make sure I put on the soundtrack evry loudly any time he's come from college. :D
My 18 year old brother's favorites LOTR and The Big Lebowski. He's the one who actually turned me on to The Big Lebowski, bless his heart.
Favorite? That's hard. My sibs all like lots of movies, so these are just what comes to mind.
Deb is a bit of a Bond fan, and also really loves Kissing Jessica Stein and You've Got Mail, and a thousand other non-romantic-comedies.
My younger brother is quite the fan of Young Frankenstein.
My older brother, I think of The Big Chill. But he likes every movie he's ever seen.
I have a three younger sisters whose favorites I cannot name, although Breakfast Club might work for all of them.
I would say The Producers applies across the board.
My elder sister's favourite is probably Amelie. Although I don't keep up with her, she's left home and we're hardly close. [/end family drama]
My younger sister would probably say 'Mean Girls' or a Disney film (although she is doing Film Studies now so her tastes may evolve...); and her twin brother doesn't really watch movies. Shocking, I know. He just likes watching fast cars go round a track for hours on end.
My 27-year-old's sister favorite movie is, unequivocally, "Bad Boys II".
brother 24 Braveheart. though he likes watching the independence day over and over.
my twin brother said the LOTR, the Indys and the BTTF
11 year old brother and 10 year old brother would probably say High School Musical (yuck)
and my 1 year old baby brother loves Toy Story (haha not really, i force him to watch it and i also forced him to love his Woody doll. Too bad it doesn't speak, i want one of those!)
You know...I have no idea. What a good brother I am, eh? My dad's favorite is DIE HARD...does that count?
My thirty-five year old brother's favorite films are Blazing Saddles and Goodfellas.
I know this because he recites the dialog from both films incessantly !
My brother's favorite movie is American History X. And my sister's favorite is either Terms of Endearment or The Little Mermaid. by the way, Nat, did you go to Bedford Union High? I graduated in '91.
My 16 year old brother's favorite is Dawn of the Dead ('78), closely followed by Night of the Living Dead ('68)
He's actually really smart about movies, he loves hong-kong new wave pics and screwball comedies from the thirties and forties.
I'm so proud.
It used to be Jaws and Black Beauty. Then she grew a little older and now I'm pretty sure it remains The Green Mile, followed by How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 10 Things I Hate About You and Talk to Her. She's 23 BTW.
As for my 2 year old cousin, his current obsession is that CGI-Disney flick Dinosaur.
My younger (16 y.o.) sister loves Donnie Darko and Dead Poets Society and I'm very proud!
pfangirl two movies i never thought i'd hear paired:
How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days
Talk to Her
Almodovar & Kate Hudson. Who knew?
For years my little brothers favorite movie was SAY ANYTHING, then he had a bad break up right when TITANIC was released, and I think he sat thru that in the Theatres 10 times.
I love him, but he loves sap!
I think my older brother loves SHREK.
I have no idea what my sisters fav is.
My older sister's favorite movie is "Dirty Dancing".
I don't know what's my younger sister's favorite movie. I will ask her and come back later to tell her answer.
Five siblings and I only know two for sure. Two of my older sisters would say 'Gone with the Wind' and 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', respectively.
I'm going to guess my oldest sister would say something off the wall like 'Maxie'. I'm 90% sure my younger brother would say 'Top Gun'. The younger sister is 13 and I fear what she would say, haha. But I'll hope for the best and say 'Mean Girls'.
so many mainstream movies... but i guess that's why they're mainstream. The People (monolithic) love them.
keelay this is the first time I believe that anyone has mentioned Maxie on this blog. There's a surprise here every day!
chris "i love him but he loves sap!" --ha ha. I should've chosen this for comment du jour. Oops.
My brother loves Wall-E. :)
Yeah, Nat, it is a very strange combination. I was just thinking of the films that make up her small DVD collection and Talk To Her does sit alongside How to Lose...
I suppose it's one of the after-effects of taking a course in European Cinema at college.
