Such a good movie. A shame Viggo was passed over.

I'm straight and even I'm totally in love with him, especially in LOTR, he makes those films come alive the way Harrison Ford saved STAR WARS and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

Have you heard his music?? It's like piano and poetry so maybe not officially music... but worth catching even if i makes your ears burn in sympathetic embarrassment.

He makes it cool to have long/ish hair and still be masculine.

No, really. He's an inspiration to me as an actor and as a man. I wish I could afford some of this books and music, but, sadly enough, I can't. Nevertheless, the release of a new movie of his is a special occasion....and he's incredible in A History of Violence. The Road's will be taking some more time to reach me but it will well be worth the wait.

I admit that years ago, I didn't like Viggo at all. But over the course of LOTR, he convinced me. And I thought he was great in The History of Violence. He should have been nominated that year.

The History of Violence DVD has some of the best extras I've seen on a DVD. They break down the showpiece scenes and show you how they shot them, and what the particular problems they had to solve were. REALLY interesting.

You should check out EASTERN PROMISES. its a good film and he does some nice work in it. And looks damn good naked!

I used to hate this man until I realized that it wasn't hatred, but rather, discomfort with the fact that I was deeply attracted to a smelly-looking guy who looked like he never washed (this was during LOTR). Then I watched Eastern Promises where he was clean-shaven, and was like, "oh, I seeeee."
