J Edgar Linker

Just Jared Leonardo DiCaprio in talks to play J Edgar Hoover. Hmmm... I'm not quite sure I see it. I like Leo but I really don't need him to take as many Oscar bait roles as he does. I'm sort of anxious for them to cave and give him the Oscar because I suspect maybe he'll lighten up a bit afterwards... maybe do another Catch Me If You Can like project maybe?
Peel Slowly Great Annie Hall gag dumbed down. This post is so sad. And true!
Film School Rejects had the best of all the web's April Fools joking yesterday (that I came across at least). It infected the whole site humourously without cause any lying pain.
ioncinema We Need To Talk About Kevin gets its Kevin? That creepy boy from Afterschool (*shudder)?

Gabby Sidibe hosting SNL...I AM THERE!

For some reason, I feel an Eastwood film will be the one to finally get DiCaprio his Oscar, after all those Scorcese films. He takes himself too seriously.

You know what's weird? The first time I saw Annie Hall, I bought the DVD on impulse, went home, watched it, loved it. Only later, when I watched it for a class, did I learn that there *were* subtitles in that scene. My DVD copy doesn't have those "[THINKING]" subtitles at all for some reason, so that entire scene played completely differently for the first three years I watched it.

The pictures of Hoover and Leo are striking. They could easily make that happen with the right costuming and makeup.

Leo wants his Oscar. I don't blame him for going after it. It'll happen when it happens though.

DiCaprio should have got the Oscar for Aviator, and I can't beleive he wasn't even nominated for The Departed. It's true though, he has had a lot of weighty roles as of late. But Inception looks to be a mind-bending genre film, and I'm sure he'll be great in it as usual.

I definitely would like to see him in a more comedic role. That doesn't mean the movie has to be a piece of fluff, but I'd like to see him play an interesting supporting role, instead of the sympathetic hero. Without a doubt his best role is in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, with Johnny Depp playing a fantastic sympathetic hero.

Nathaniel, what is your actual email address? For some reason I don't have it stored from last year, and when I click "email me" my computer forces me to use an email account I don't have set up.

Thanks!

i want to see Leo in another character than "paranoid"(he's paranoid since "Aviator" unless)

the April Fool's joke from pajiba was great(they LOVED Twilight or Clash of titans this day)
