First and Last, Zippo

the first line of dialogue and the last image before the end credits.
I want my fucking Zippo now!

Can you guess the movie?

Highlight for the answer: It's the very best and the most underrated movie of 2008, it's Jonathan Demme's RACHEL GETTING MARRIED. Love it you must. See it again you should if you don't.

That was going to be my guess despite not remembering the Zippo line.

RGM! I knew it! Something similar happens to me, Nathaniel. When I watched it for the first time, I liked it and that was it. Then I found myself thinking about it more and more, and have watched it like 4 times since. It's my #1 of 2008 as well.

Wow, I watched this two weeks ago and I didn't have a clue.

What a beautiful film though.

@IVO - At first I thought you meant "Rosemarie deserved the nomination she got" and then I realized you meant "Rosemarie deserved the nomination Anne got". Or something like that. But, yes. All this time later it's Rosemarie's perf, not Anne's, that sticks with me. I never understood how she (and Bill Irwin for that matter) got overlooked by AMPAS.

But I guess it goes back to Joachim Phoenix's remark about who runs the best campaign?

@Janice and IVO. no no no. ALL THREE were brilliant. Why be stingy? They all deserved the nods.

What i meant with "that oscar nomination" was the supporting actress nomination. I agree totally with mrripley, DeWitt over Henson any day.
P.S. A loved Anne's performance too, she was one of the best that year.
