i've seen it. surprisingly boring and also very stereotypical.
Figures. I suppose the poster is a clue. Oh well...
i didn't get to see all of it, but from what I have, it works as a curiosity piece, and little else. Burton looks bored, bored, bored, while Rex Harrison does little else but be bitchy.
I did see it and yes it was very offensive and very boring.
They showed this on TCM last year as part of their gay film fest - I was excited to see it, as I'd seen the trailer but the film itself was unavailable.
Have to agree with the others - nothing is more offensive than being as dull and boring as this movie is. I ended up fast-forwarding through most of it... and didn't miss a thing.
