I'm having a River Phoenix in
My Own Private Idaho kind of day. Only without the hustling part. And no Keanu Reeves to hold me either (damn).... okay just the narcolepsy part. That's the only part I'm having.
So, I got nothing today. Talk amongst yourselves.
Have a nice day

amen to THAT **yawn**
Y'know, I do love that movie. It's one of Van Sant's better efforts, and Keanu is used well. The Criterion package is fabulous. (Oddly enough, I live in Portland now, too...)
I recently read a story about Merv Griffin getting a young River Phoenix very drunk and then having his way with him. I was sort of disturbed, but can't say as I blame him.
So....They are splitting Harry Potter 7 into two movies...Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2, with the first one coming out in November 2010...And Kloves and Yates are returning...
My Own Private Idaho is something of a masterpiece.
So sad you´re not quite yourself today Nat, and yeah for the Hallows news. Oh Nat,we´re talking among ourselves, but believe me it´s not like butter, why didn´t you give us a hot topic,so give me one please!
Congrats Nat! I'm so used to seeing insomniac posts from you that I'm happy you're getting some rest. I wish I could say the same. May visions of Pfeiffers dance in your head.
LOVE RIVER PHOENIX!!!!
This is Sant's masterpiece.
Aw, c'mon Nate ... you could do some hustling if you wanted to ...
Haven't seen this flick since its premiere. It has a strange vibe to it. The one thing it gets exactly right is the Phoenix character's desire for Keanu's character. It's unrequited, of course, and just painfully sad.
