What a great read, and all the writers seem just as passionate as you do about the films and performances. Your dislike of Philip Seymore Hoffman's acting is hilarious (although I don't agree with it)

Sorry, Nate, I may have missed something, but now I'm itching to know: which performance did you change your opinion on?

Oh, it wasn't a performance in particular. But generally speaking, Capote I realized was much better than I originally gave it credit for being.

I also underestimated Junebug . It stuck with me like crazy and I realized that maybe I was just not quite in the right mood when I watched it.

Ah, cool, I'm finally seeing Capote tomorrow Jesus-willing. And Junebug's still in my Top 10 for 2005, looking more and more steady.

Now I have another question though: do you ever 'adjust' your Top 10 lists and FB Award choices in retrospect?

no.

it would be too confusing. i try to look at it like my own oscars. so i can't undo mistakes.

although I am considering adding a section under each awards year (if i could do it over again...)
