Day of Rest

Shhhhhh! Making a living is hard. Especially when you work irregular hours. Let Julia and I sleep.

Is that from Pret-a-Porter?

I miss Julia.

Not the new Julia that appeared in Charlie Wilson's War and never moved her forehead. No; the old Julia.

Come back to the Five and Dime, Julia Roberts, Julia Roberts.

it's actually from Pretty Woman ---so we're talking really old Julia. i.e. really young Julia.

yes what has happened to julia seems she doesn't want to be THE julia roberts we know and love, very stiff in ccw, hoping for one last great mybfw perf, god she was great in that.her most overlooked perf is mary reilly,i know the accents sticks but watch her she is v v good in.

Oh. I just saw Pret-a-Porter yesterday (then La Vie En Rose, thanks a lot Grace Jones.......) and since Julia basically spent the entire movie in bed, well, my mistake. :P

She was so lovely and magnificent and enchanting and beautiful as Vivian Ward... a great performance, too. But she gave her best performance three years ago in Mike Nichols "Closer", she was just stunning in it. Her 2nd best performance is "Erin Brockovich", followed by "Pretty Woman" and "My Best Friend's Wedding".

I really didn't think she left any impression at all in Closer, I'm sorry to say. But I do love her in Erin, Pretty and My Best Friend. And I have a sneaky regard for her in The Mexican too.
