Dear Hollywood,

Please make at least one movie as good as this one every six months. Thanks in advance.

Love,
Children of Men Fanatic

Just watched this again the other day. Extraordinary. A movie that will live on...

It really is an amazing film. Do you remember the audible gasps when it didn't win Best Cinematography that year? Or did the soundtrack of my mind just add them?

It's indeed a brilliant movie and according to recent studies it might not be too far off from reality.
And VAL, no, you didn't add those gasps, I was shocked and threw some popcorn at my TV as well when that happened.

Where's my Art Direction Oscar??????
At least the production design team (sorry I don't remember your names and I'm to lazy to google it) are in good company: Alex McDowell was also snubed by the Academy for everything he did this decade.
And please, lets not talk about the Academy giving the best cinematography Oscar to the wrong mexican.

Alfonso Cuaron restored my trust in the Harry Potter series, and he absolutely blew me away with Children of Men.

Don't pull a Paul Thomas Anderson, dish out some eye candy now!!

what movie is this?

Amazingly detailed film. I think Alfonso Cuaron will be the next great film maker of this century.

The Oscars are going to be very embarrassed this didn't win Best Picture back in the day.
