And the 10 winners (or 'it's all downhill from here' losers if you're cynically inclined) are: The Olsen Twins, Daniel Radcliffe, our girl Lindsay Lohan (who will be kicked off this list shortly when she hits 21), Dakota Fanning ("a history of"), Amanda Bynes, Hayden Panetierre, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, 'Olive Hoover' aka lil' Abby Breslin, Tyler James Williams, and Joanna 'JoJo' Levesque
I have no idea what it's like to be rolling in it (the closest I've come is watching Demi Moore do just that in her hotel room in Indecent Pro --whoa, where did that memory come from --let us never speak of it again) but I assume the old chestnut "don't spend it all in one place" is good and sound advice.

It's very interesting how thse are all girls, save for Harry potter and the other guy. Are young male actors not appealing now? When will we get the next Macaulay Culkin, or Elijah Wood, or Haley Joel? Any ideas for the successor?
i hadn't even thought of that. but you're right... and the 90s for child stars were pretty boy heavy weren't they? Maybe it's a cyclical thing.
Me again- Think about Oscar noms as well. How many boys can you name that have been nom'ed for an oscar? Osment, Mickey Rooney, Justin Henry... see can't think of anyone else of the top of my head. However, I can name... Paquin, Breslin, Castle Hughes, Duke, Foster, O'Neal, and well.. the child award to Shirley Temple and Haley Mills (don't know if those should count or not.) And of all the children nom'd (not including the juvenile award) only three girls have won... O'neal, Duke, and Paquin.
I just hope that these kids have some reasonable people behind them, making sure that the money they get is well saved or well invested.
