Monday Monologue: "Missy Pantone"

Awesome, oh, wow!
Like, totally freak me out!
I mean, right on!

The Toros sure are number one.

I transferred from Los Angeles!
Your school has no gymnastics team!

This is a last resort!

Okay, so I've never cheered before. So what? How about something that actually requires neurons?
I'm pulling rank, and you can fall in line or not. But Eliza Dushku's the poo. So take a big whiff.

Why doesn't she work more? Why didn't "Faith" in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 'hard core gymnast' "Missy" in Bring it On! lead to anything more substantial than crap TV like Tru Calling and horror films? Why? Why? Whyyyyyyyyyyy!?!?!

She was perfect as Faith, a character who deserved a spin-of.
Maybe Nobel Son could do some for her...it will be shown at the Tribeca Festival.

She was perfect at anything.

I had almost forgotten her. Thanks for reminding me. I have to put her back on my "so hot I'd lose a digit for her list."

She's also in that semi-teen movie The New Guy with Eddie Griffin. Not that I saw it or know anything about it. I just kinda heard she was in it.

True, true. Wrong Turn was incredibly bad. It almost undid all the goodwill that Buffy and Bring It On did, but then I watched those things again and realised "No, nothing can deminish that how great she is."

Yes, she rocks on every level. And to be fair, I thought Tru found its groove, but just too late in the day.

I'm sexy, I'm cute, I'm popular to boot. I'm bitchin', great hair. The boys all love to stare.

Bring it On was so much fun. Eliza shall rise again.

I've never actually seen any Buffy, (I know, the horror right?) but Bring It On had such a lively energy about it that I've seriously considered doing so just for Dushku. And to see what all the fuss is about with Gellar.

Dunst was wonderful in the film as well.

The entire cast of Bring It On is so perfect, but Missy definitely is "the poo". It's odd that Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Bradford and Gabrielle Union got right into decent careers post-BiO, but Dushku, the big scene stealer, has basically gone nowhere. :( A shame.

Beau,
what do we have to do to convince you to watch all 100+ hours of the Buffy series?

Love her. I know you're all about the Kiki, but Bring It On belongs to Eliza. And she did not sign on for spirit fingers.

"I don't know what's scarier, neurotic cheerleaders or the pressure to win. I could make a killing selling something like Diet Prozac."

Dushku as Faith brought an increadible electric tension to Buffy! This actress steals the scene whenever she shows up! So yeah, good quesiton, why haven't we seen more of her?!
