I agree that snubbing Where the Wild Things Are is atrocious. I wasn't impressed with 2012 or Terminator Salvation's effects, either. Of course Avatar will win, but I'd love to see District 9 win instead for its seamless implementation of the CGI: it was incredibly realistic.the man behind the curtain shares his personal favorite for best visual effects.
Somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good... in order to deserve this movie.
6 chatty moviegoers:

la sirèen du mississipi de truffaut ? With Catherine...
siRENe du mississipi i mean
I have no idea why this one jumped out at me immediately while I've struggled to identify any number of more memorable films in this series, but it MUST be "Torn Curtain."
Death on the Nile? :-)
It's TORN CURTAIN. Max and Guy got it.
has anyone been noticing how many films begin or end with shots of water?
curious.
