Yes, that's right. It's the Oscar hit THE KING AND I (1956)! Do you love this musical?

Fooled me, And I love that movie. i was going towards ENTER THE DRAGON.

i saw CHERIE tonight, and really didn't like it. It was beautiful, but something was missing....the Joie di vivre. They were playing french cortesons like english ladies. I like Cathy Bates, but I think i would have rather seen Catherine Denueve.

I finally knew one, even without the hint! How I love The King and I. It's probably my favorite musical.

Opening shot looks like something out of a Terry Gilliam film.

I got this one just with the first frame, and made me momentarily happy. I guess that's why I'm writing.
I also got Delovely, Gattaca, Laura and Carrie.
I thought Dazed and confused was The virgin suicides.
I should have known The fugitive. Most of the other movies I have never watched, although some I had, to no avail all the same.

javi i'm not sure i'd do better. i actually don't have a great movie memory (maybe i see too many?) and i am routinely shocked at how quick people are to guess these.

One of the few I've gotten. Even though I've never seen it, I can recognize the Bangkok skyline and the 1950s technicolor and put two and two together. Why haven't I seen it? Because the peak of my interest in seeing the film was when I was living in Thailand, where it is still to this day banned.
