I never should have watched this movie, but I guess it's good I did cause I've never done drugs. Most disturbing experience of my life!

Off topic (kind of), but I was listening to The Fountain score tonight and realized:

A.) I love Clint Mansell.
B.) He should always score Darren Aronofsky movies.
C.) He didn't receive an Oscar nomination, which is just plain stupid. That score was fantastic. But, what can you do?

Oh yeah, but yay Requiem for a Dream.

I should mention that I was only 13 at the time. I could probably tough it out now, but I'm not willing to take that chance. It was excellent though.

Ellen Burstyn gives one of the top performances ever!

this just starts up the julia vs ellen debate again and we know why julia won although ellen is technically better but julia is great role meets great movie star who's career seems to have plummeted from that night in 2001 when won only closer redeems her, still can't get over that snub.

Love love love Burstyn in this. One of my all-time favorite films. One of my all-time favorite scores.

Made me bawl like a baby.

This movie actually made me stop using drugs =)

and IMO Ellen was robbed BIG time

Along with the movie not even receiving a director or BP nod
