Isn'it astonishing? I love the way Francis Ford Coppola switches his movie making style in the 70's. The Godfathers (I&II) are all about Visconti, The Conversation is the unofficial 4th Part of Polanski's apartment trilogy (Rosemary's Baby, The Tenant, Repulsion), and Apocalypse Now goes deep into Herzog. The man against nature, and getting absorbed by it by reaching madness. Every time I see Aguirre, I try to see Apocalypse Now again. It is rare to find this kind of artistic synchronism.

Speaking of Coppola's, glad to see Marie Antoinette gets an A-. I had a feeling this would be an "A-" film for you (even without having seen it)... I know your taste too well...

I hope everyone goes to see Marie-Antoinette. SO much better than you've been hearing.

Um, no.

Love you Nate, but Marie-Antoinette is crap. And I looooooove Kiki!

Fuck yeah, Nat. Fuck yeah.

The Aguirre pic, not the comment on the unbearable Marie Antoinette.

Marie Antoinette an A-! Interesting. Hopefully, it should be better than LiT.

Then again, I didn't dig LiT.
