I've already figured it out: you stalked that pre-school where her child and Julianne's child are classmates. I knew that that behind-the-scenes Vertical Hour story was going to prompt you to swift, fruitful action.

Spill it!!!

Oh ma gah! That is so awesome. I can't wait to hear the details. . . . And I am so jealous, I could just spit.

I’M F-ING jealous… but you deserved what I'm sure was an incredible treat.

I can only hope that this jaw- dropping event (plus her two F.B. medals won in the last five years) will help to eventually propel this goddess into your holy 1st Tier of Favorite Actresses. I know she “inspires my eternal devotion.”

- And just for fun: Three down (LAFCA, SAG, BAFTA) … four to go!
(BFCA, NYFCA, Golden Globe, Oscar)

Personal fav. Winslet performance to Date:

- Although her BEST work to date is probably Sense & Sensibility OR Holy Smoke.

- My personal favorite Winslet creation is Rose Dawson from TITANIC. Hardly her most challenging performance but never the less, it's my fav.

Oh how I envy you!

HEY, did you ask her what she marked as Best Picture on her 2005 Oscar ballot? 

I saw her too. In a forthcoming releases trailer at the cinema.

I'm sure I'll get past the envy and bitter resentment, but it may take some time.

OK, seriously, that is SO MUCH cooler than meeting Julianne. Sorry, Julianne, but Kate Winslet is cooler than you.

I echo everyone else's sentiments. i.e. I would have died.

I was actually just thinking about Kate Winslet tonight. I was thinking "she'd win the damn oscar if she'd just play a famous person in a biopic" and then I thought "damn, she ALREADY TRIED THAT and it DIDN'T WORK." Why didn't she win the oscar for Iris?

God, I love Kate Winslet.

She really should be in your top tier.

adam k. said...

If necessary, just boot Natalie Wood. Seriously.

adam k. said...

She's dead and gone. She'll never know...

Judy is gone, too, yes, but her eternal spirit is occasionally conjured back by things like Rufus Wainwright Carnegie Hall homages, so I don't think you should risk it. Judy's spirit has eyes and ears everywhere.

Kate should get Wood's spot.

Is oscarlessness a requirement for the top tier? If so, Kate still qualifies.

OK, I'll stop now. But think about it...
