RIP Baby Diego

Jose here with some sad news from the future.

In exactly seventeen years from today, the youngest person on Earth will die in a gruesome murder, leaving humanity's fate in the hands of...

It doesn't help that he has some issues to solve with Julianne Moore and thinks Baby Diego was a wanker...

How do you feel about the possibility that in the future no new children will be born? Wasn't Children of Men one of the most amazing movies of the last decade? Are you still pissed someone stole El Chivo Lubezki's Oscar?

I recently rewatched. To say I was blown away was an understatement.

I liked it a lot when I first saw it, but this time I was completely overwhelmed both emotionally and cinematically.

this is my favorite film from the past decade, i was grateful with the nominations given to the film, however the film received no love in OSCAR NIGHT

i can't believe JULIANNE MOORE, CLIVE OWEN, ALFONSO CUARON and EMMANUEL LUBESKI are still OSCARless

this are some of the best people working the industry right now

It's really a pretty good film...

In all fairness, Lubezki could have had his Oscar stolen by less-deserving movies than Pan's Labyrinth. Still, he should have one already.

I was too freaked out about Julianne Moore's character dying after like, 30 minutes that I couldn't really enjoy the rest of the film!!

this film is already so long on my to-watch-list, and your blog and comments moved it again to the top spot

My favorite 2 movies of the decade came out in 2006: Children of Men and Pan's Labyrinth.

But this movie was criminally under-marketed. No reason it couldn't have resonated with audiences the way District 9 did. It has of course received a cult following now, but it could have hit so much bigger on its initial release.

All time favorite movie. And Lubezki losing the Oscar makes me angry, still.

Masterwork. Smearing masterwork. Personal best of the decade, however: Oedipal tragic thriller Oldboy.

I haven't seen this movie but Pans Laberynth's photography was so deserving for an oscar.
