Regarding #62 - Vince Vaughn should get points back for his portrayal of FBI Agent Peter Novak in the much-underrated 2000 film, "The Cell". A great movie to look at and experience when in a science-fiction-meets-mad-slasher kind of mood, and Vince does have to stretch a bit in this one.

I too am sad that Norton has not done/accomplished more. Everytime I watch American History X I fall more in love with the performance!(not the charactor though, still scares the s*** outta me) Quite possibly my favorite performance of all-time...

Yes, it's so baffling what's happening to Edward Norton's career. I wonder if he's extremely picky or just plain lazy, because his film output seems awfully low (in quantity and quality) for an actor of his caliber and with his range. 'Kingdom of Heaven' was big a disappointment, but what a performance he gave under the circumstances and in the scope of his role. Let's hope he has a career resurgence with 'The Painted Veil' later this year.

There's an article about Ed Norton's next film in the NY Times today:

Sounds like they had trouble getting a distributor.

Other than AHX and Fight Club, I've honestly never liked Norton that much... I thought his performance in Primal Fear was seriously overrated.

And - I'm apparently just overflowing with negativity today - I thought Jesse Eisenberg was awful in The Squid and the Whale, he ruined the film for me. But Daniels was, is, fantastic.

I thought Eisenberg was the best thing about TSatW. But I dislike the film (and Linney is absolutely awful).

I like Norton but I find it hard to love him. I haven't seen American History X (I've seen Romper Stomper recently and that's enough violent neo-nazism for now), but I liked him in Primal Fear and Everyone Says I Love You and especially in 25th Hour. That whole movie was just great though.

Vince Vaughn... ugh. He's likable in an extremely annoying way. I'm glad when in movies like Mr & Mrs Smith that he's only in them briefly. However, I wish he would do more stuff like Psycho and The Cell.

Jamie Foxx = Most Overcelebrated Celebrity of the last 5 years. I. HATE. YOU. JAMIE FOXX. Plz die now and take your horrible singing career with you. (I still like you in Collateral though... that's about it. Not even Ray)
