20:07 (not us, not the Jensens)

Each morning a screenshot from the 20th minute and 7th second of a movie

Babe, tonight in church in that Laura Ashley dress? You were magnificent. And thanks for helping me in the kitchen --don't know what I'd do without you, kitten.

I am so proud to share a birthday with crazy ass Sandra Bernhard (that's next week on June 6th) I didn't make an Amazon Wish List or anything but you could always send me (hint) a (hint) little (hint) donation. I'm so very subtle with the hinting.

What's your favorite piece of WITHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING ?

"God, Chip! I wish you weren't my brother so I could f*** you!"

And her safe-sex description of spreading "a range of spermicidal jams and jellies around The Area."

But clearly, more than anything, "Little Red Corvette."

I've gotta go with Vorpal on this one, but I also love: "Charmed!"

charmed is classic. is there any celebrity more quotable?

No, there surely isn't!

"But mister, if this is about Ishtar I'm getting up and walking out of here right now, because that's too self-indulgent for even me."

I'm paraphrasing from memory here.

"No one speaks of pavilions anymore - and that truly saddens me..."

"Oh, my God... there must have been dust on those Mints..." (and its recall in a later concert - "there must have been dust on that joke...")

"It was a portrait Norman Rockwell forgot to paint - 'Someone's Mother Home Again'... in Oils!"

"You know things are bad when you start resenting Linda Hunt. Oh, they found another project for her? I'm THRILLED."

I LOVE this movie... I first saw it after a friend did and said she hated it because she didn't get the jokes, but I should go because I would (and she was right). If you've never seen her live, you're really missing something.

i've seen her live twice. the first time was awesome and the second time was one of the worst concert experiences i've ever had. I absolutely love her, have followed her whole career, and it was unfunny meandering and spacey for her entire set.

something was obviously wrong though because it was a triple bill and she didn't come out at the finale for the bow.

i've been wondering ever since (it was a year ago) what happened...

Was it her with Cyndi Lauper and Jill Sobule? Because I saw them in Michigan, and it was pretty much the same story.
