First?

What's the first movie you thought of this morning?

The Third Man-I was wondering how I could rig my alarm clock so that the theme could always play the Third Man. That, and I had a dream where Joseph Cotten showed up for some reason.

I.Q. with Meg Ryan, Tim Robbins, Walter Matthau. Came over the hill down towards the mountains and thought about saying "Wa-hooo!"

All About Eve. I watched it last night, and the climax with Addison deWitt (George Sanders) finally calls Eve (Anne Baxter) on her lies and just general ridiculousness. Oh and Bette Davis being sublime and self-referential in a way she never did or could again. The dialogue still leaps off the screen with crisp devilishness.

"Date Night" My mother just mentioned it and so for some reason it was on my mind when I awoke. Then I took a shower, ha!

The Room. It's finally screening in a theater near me and I am extremely excited to share the awful experience with an auditorium full of train-wreck lovers.

Must have been "American History X" because I watched it yesterday. Awesome movie, though some things bothered me, and this morning they felt stronger than while watching.

The lingering effect Michael Heneke films; I watched Cache and White Ribbon back to back recently, both very good.

Also, since I've been reading Another Roadside Attraction, I've repeatedly been coming back to the daring idea of a Tom Robbin's book being made into a faithful movie. Should it be animated, should it have a narrator, which filmmaker can convey his sexuality, whimsy, and crazy philosophies with an air of lightness?

The Human Centipede, because I checked Ebert's reviews first thing this morning.

He gave it...actually, go see for yourself.

Moonstruck...I was writing an allusion for my language class. It was so corny though: "Don't make go Cher on you! I will make you 'snap out of it!'"

It worked well for me :)

I saw "The Girlfriend Experience" last night and mailed the Netflix back this morning, so that one.

It's no "Bubble," that's for sure.

I didn't think of a movie, I thought about Buffy The Vampire Slayer. :-/

I think after I might have thought of where I can find a theater that's showing both Iron Man 2 and Mother and Child...besides Union Square.

A Clockwork Orange. I watched it last night and I haven't been able to get that last scene out of my head. The one with the blonde and the snow :)

Grease

Because of Olivia Newton John's appereance on Glee, I can't take "Physical" and "Run, Joey, Run" out of my head.

I've been thinking of the Evil Dead series all day long. I know everybody's pre-disposed to Liam Neeson, but was it Neeson, or was it more Kingsley and Fiennes who elevated the list? My pick for Best Lead Actor of 1993 is Bruce Campbell's swaggery, charismatic and (frankly) "this is bat country" level crazy Ash Williams. (Nominee for Dead by Dawn, but has to lose because of Richard E. Grant's divinely misanthropic, asexual, aromantic Withnail.)

Evening and I have no idea why. Haven't even seen it, and heard from people who have that it was terrible.

Inception. The new trailer is going to start showing when Iron Man 2 is released here(U.S.)

The Apartment. Had a dream last night in which I was the Jack Lemmon character and one of my good friends was the Shirley MacLaine character. Huh.

Thelma & Louise. Our professor talked about it yesterday and I was thinking it was time to watch it.
