Burn After Linking

Screener on this summer's box office and that looming actor's strike. Uh-oh.
MNPP wishes Roger Ebert a happy birthday (and props given to the new Werner Herzog too)
<---I Watch Stuff has an entirely plausible explanation of how this new Burn After Reading poster came to be. I love it, too
IFC a little behind-the-scenes familial blessing upon The Edge of Love, Keira Knightley's new flick
I Don't Like You In That Way Jennifer (Aniston) vs. Jennifer (Connelly)
Coffee Coffee and More Coffee Peter gets incredibly meta for the new edition of his fun "Coffee Break" series. Pam Grier... rowr
NY Post TIFF's opening night film, the Canadian WW I drama Passchendaele. They're deciding these things already?

Caroline Dhavernas is in Passchendale or however you spell things . . . hence, I will see it.

I saw Wanted the other day and was pleasantly surprised. I expected it to be bad, but it's enjoyable (if you can get past the pro-violence thing but Hey you tree-hugging pacifist it's an action film)

and, yes, Jolie kicks ass in this (although she's too skinny) If she's as good in the Eastwood film as they say, then it's a hell of a good year for her (Kung Fu Panda is also a big hit)

I love love love that Burn After Reading poster. I want one! It's beautiful. And every name on that poster is an Oscar winner or nominee to boot.

Thanks for the mention of my now three year old blog.

Meh to the Burn After Reading poster. I'd rather stare at an actual Saul Bass poster.
