Has anyone explored the fact that most Disney villains have darker skin that their heroic counterparts?
Film Bitch Nods!!! We want 'em!!! Now!!!
Easily the best voice performance I've ever had the pleasure of... um, hearing. Should have won the Oscar. Ursula being, like, the scariest Disney villain ever is a huge portion of what makes The Little Mermaid as effective as it is.
Q -- more tomorrow morning. working on them right now.
WTF?! One of my friends on facebook just asked me who my favorite Disney villian was . . . so I posted my answer about an hour ago. SPOOKY!
(They didn't ask me. They asked all their friends. Ooopss.) ... (I can be so default solipstisic)
Um sorry. I won't say another word.
...said the Gods to Rosemarie DeWitt.
"Zip!" - the feeling I felt when i found the "film experience" facebook group, kinda like a ghost town o'er there
Not only do they usually have darker skin, but they are almost always gay.Can anyone name a disney villain that isn't a power hungry angry woman or an effeminate man? Was there ever a white straight villain in Disney history?
Ursula was so wrong when she said...the men up there don't like a lot of blabber...
Chris - what about Stromboli from Pinocchio? Unless he's a big bear of a daddy.
Is the Princess and the Frog too geeky to be on the We Cant Wait list? Can't wait to hear Anika Rose on the big screen again. Did anyone see her in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? It's hard to get NY theatre reviews up here in Canada.
