Yeah, the fact that she didn't vomit whilst Quentin Tarantino sucked alcohol off her foot stands as a testament to her amazing acting ability. Seriously. He's so gross.
The funny thing is, it actually is her best performance.

Penélope and her are such good friends that she should convince Pedro Almodovar to write something for Salma. That would be insteresting.
I'd say her best is her recurring role on 30 Rock, where she's utterly hilarious (why doesn't this woman do more comedy?).
Pido perdón por escribir este comentario en castellano,pero es que no tengo apenas conocimientos de la lengua inglesa,solo queria contestar al comentario escrito por Victor S,puedes estar sentando esperando,porque no creo que veamos nunca a Salma y Penélope en una película de Almodóvar,simplemente eso no ocurrira,Penélope es la musa de Almodóvar,por cierto que esta fantástica en "Los abrazos rotos",y puede que el ingles de Penélope no sea una maravilla,pero al menos tiene un Oscar.

I think her best performance is in "El callejon de los milagros" actually is her only good performace.
Is this that awful FROM DUSK TIL DAWN. Guess there were some enjoyable moments. I vaguely recall Cheech Moran doing some outrageous pussy monologue.

Well Penelope might be as you called her "Almodovar's muse" but don't forget that he has been making movies since the 80's and Penelope just began acting in the early 90's, and she wasn't in an Almodovar movie until 97. He had other muses before her, and he could have many more.
It's like the Lurhman/Kidman relationship. They'll make some movies, and then they'll get tired and then find other people.

Carmen Maura fue musa de Pedro Almodóvar durante muchos años,pero su musa actual es Penélope,y su relación no es solo cinematográfica si no también personal,son como hermanos como dijo ella en su reciente aparición en Cannes,claro que puede que algún dia deje de serlo,pero es seguro que Salma Hayek no lo será.
Yes, I agree. I can't see Almodóvar replacing Cruz with Hayek, but would love to see him with Carmen Maura again. The Volver reunion was not enough.
