mmm It's so nice to see Bergman on here!

Have any of you seen this brilliant parody of this phase of Bergman's career (starring Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, and Andrea Martin)? "Whispers of the Wolf":

Sooo spooky, just yesterday I was thinking about when you might post something related to Liv Ullmann, (great minds think alike) so that I could say that I'm suprised people aren't tripping over themselves to work with her, considering how amazing she is, although maybe its a personal choice??

I think Bibi's the prettier one, but there's something about Liv Ullmann that's so enigmatic and captivating and my attention goes to her instead.

AHHHHH <3 <3 <3

Though 'Cries and Whispers' still has my vote as the greatest film ever made.

Yeah. I'd personally have both of them on a ballot. (Although: Not denying Liz Taylor her win for Woolf. Sorry: But A Man For All Seasons is about Scofield, The Battle of Algiers doesn't have a single performance to think about and as for Persona...well, that was more an oddity fest. I wouldn't raise up either of those performances as THE STRONGEST.)
