Since I heard "Live it up" this morning on the radio I have had Crocodile Dundee on my mind.

Just finished rewatching Adaptation, so I'm thinking about that right now.

At this point, I really would like nothing more than for something...ANYTHING to come out from Tree of Life. More official stills...a trailer...a sample from Desplat's score...a last minute submission to Cannes...anything.

Blade Runner, just thinking how great Ridley Scott was before he met Russell Crowe.

I'm wondering how hard it will be to work my way into becoming an acting agent. I'm applying to the CAA after I graduate.

or how great MArtin Scorsese was before he met Di Caprio.

I've been thinking about how much Twilight New Moon has in common with "An Education"... it's deep thoughts I got, man!

Taxi Driver 2 might happen.... Terrible, terrible idea. Reading Jane Smiley's "A Thousand Acres" what a lousy film apart from Michelle Pfeiffer's searing performance....Saw "Greenberg", disliked it...Guess I can only handle bitter, cruel characters if Nicole Kidman plays them. Loved Jennifer Jason Leigh though. So underrated.

I'm eagerly waiting for Iron Man 2... other than that, I'm not really thinking about a whole lot concerning movies at the moment. The trailer for The Kids Are All Right made me somewhat excited for the movie. It looks really good

I watched Hunger a couple of weeks ago and can't stop thinking about it. So unbelievably haunting. It just won't go away.

And I'm dying to see Greenberg but I just haven't got any time until the end of the semester... so frustrating!

I'm still high on ass-kicking after last night. I think people know what movie I went to.. ;)

I still can´t get the chemistry of Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner out of my head if it is "The King and I" or "The Journey", which I have seen just now.

I need help! I'm doing the Tribeca film festival and I want to know what should I see? I should avoid The Killer Inside Me right?

Just finished watching Gone with the Wind...epic in every sense of the word

Now that Erich mentions it, I'm trying to figure out exactly when Martin Scorsese lost his mind and why no one will snap him the hell out of it! Had I not known who Dennis Lehane was, I'd swear Shutter Island was autobiographical.

But other than that: Inception, Inception, Inception.

Thinking about Rabbit Hole and how I want to go to NY, find John Cameron Mitchell, tell him to buck up and get this film ready already!

I'm going to watch "A History of Violence" tonight.

"kick ass " or not "kick ass"?? it's funny but very violent obviously!

and if i say "inception " trailer looks very pretentious, a new argument 's going to start with my boyfriend

Anyone see the Banksy doc, 'Exit Through The Gift Shop' yet? I'm going tonight. First film I'm seeing since they increased the price of movie tix over a month ago. Sigh.

how Netflix's 'Watch Instantly' pretty much owns me. In a matter of a few days,

I've seen:
(for the first time)
Valentino: The Last Emperor - I'd love to meet Valentino and Giancarlo

Let The Right One In - such a beautiful movie! i loved Eli's theme

The September Issue - I'd love to meet Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington

The Proposal - decent. i liked it.

The Princess Bride - I just stared at Cary and Robin the entire time. yikes. so pretty...

Body Heat - i love the scene where she's just standing there in the locked up house taunting him.

and for a second time,
Jarhead (just to ogle Jake during the Santa Hat and shower scene)

I'm going to check out Vertigo and 8 1/2 this weekend online, and i've rented Dogville on DVD to watch another day.

I'm still looking for that great gay romantic comedy in the spirit of My Best Friend's Wedding, which I just saw by complete coincidence. Still looking like a pipe dream at this point though.

I was thinking about how sick I am of people automatically declaring things like The Blind Side racist before I watched it. Then I was thinking how The Blind Side was most definitely racist after I watched it.

a couple of day ago i was thinking about this article you wrote way back when: http://filmexperience.blogspot.com/2009/03/top-ten-after-kate-winslet-who.html

and the prediction you made at the end came out wrong since jeff bridges won an oscar this year.
wouldn't be awesome if julianne moore also proved you wrong this year? or maybe her and the bening both?
oh amir, keep on draeming!
but seriously, that'd be really sweet.

"Kick-Ass" was incredible. More people should be talking about it around here than they are. Especially Chloe Grace Moretz. She's Oscarworthy BTW.

Derreck -- that's one of if not my single favorite moment in Body Heat. Kathleen Turner is just on fire in that movie. It's such a confident debut. Like... maybe top 5 most confident ever. How on earth did she pull it off on her first movie. No learning curve whatsoever.

Michael C & badmotherfucker -- lol in both cases

Samson -- i did my kick-ass talking elsewhere. But I think Let Me In will be the test for Chloe Moretz. Can she do anything other than smart ass? Because so far (500) Days and Kick-Ass that's about as far as her range goes... or has been displayed to go rather. We'll see.

I guess this is where I could alert you to the existence of Tang Wei's 2nd film, Crossing Hennessy. It opened in Hong Kong earlier this month and got some solid reviews.

And nothing about Kirsten Dunst in a Lars Von Triers film?

Saw a huge Inception poster today at the cinemas, all that is in mind at the moment is Inception Inception Inception.

Or I am feeling bad coz I haven't watched a movie since Wednesday, and won't be watching one tonight. But I will get to see The Girl with Dragon Tattoo this week. Yay!

Anyway, Inception Inception Inception Inception...

How awesomw was Memento...I watched it last night!:)

I hope Chloe is great in "Let Me In," though I think the film's unnecessary with "Let the Right One In" existing and being excellent as it is. But she showed far more depth and chops in "Kick-Ass" than the seen-it-all sounding board sister in "500 Days of Summer." I think she's already proven herself and succeeded. But I'm rooting for her regardless and hoping that more people pay attention to her great talent. See "Kick-Ass" people!
