I LOVE this movie!

Requiem is one of the BEST movies ever made. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my man Aronofsky to get the nod for "The Wrestler!"

Probability-wise, yes... probably not... :p

But (eternal optimism here), even though I'm not a huge devotee of either actor at this point, I'd love for either or both of them to surprise me.
I'm a sucker for those "who'da thunk it?" roles for actors.

i think connelly has it in her i really liked house of sand and fog performance one of my 2003 top 5 films and peformances but she keeps doing shlock like hulk and day the earth stood still, she needs to leave the moping roles now and do something 100 times different.

Jared Leto is too busy beating up Elijah Wood to do good movies.

Easily Connelly's best work; ridiculously snubbed by Oscar. I fear we may have lost Leto (and Juliette Lewis for that matter) to music for a long while yet.

The CGI tears of Blood Diamond come close

sad, but true. But Maybe if Leto accept Jennifer's role in your "Gus van Sant shot by shot remake of Requiem" he might have a shot.

I'm afraid it's true!!!
Anyway we'll have forever this harrowing movie to show us Leto and Connelly could be two sensuous, beautiful, commanding screen presences.
I don't want even start to complain about the snubs REQUIEM received(Aronofsky should win 10 golden lions just to compensate this...)...

"Can you come today?"

Hmmm, did somebody see The Day the Earth Stood Still this weekend, Nat?

I did, and I barely lived to tell about it.

The Day the Earth Stood Still in seven words: mixed Biblical metaphors, including The Mummy reference.

... also, I love James Hong, the most enduring Chinese-face careerist who's actually Chinese -- I mean, dude, he's in Chinatown, Blade Runner, Mulan, Kung Fu Panda, etc. as doddering Asian fellow. What sort of crazy lineup is that?

One of the most disturbing movies I've seen.
