Stephen's Wish Is My Command

Stephen G won the Actress Psychic Contest picking an incredible 4 out of the eventual 5 Best Actress nominees a year in advance (!) So he's taking over the banner for three weeks as part of his prize. Week One: the banner boys were...

Somebody has a 'type'! The guys were united by their spunkiness and general across the pond appeal. This week, Stephen gives us some classy ladies. But what is the commonality with these new lovelies up top? ...care to speculate in the comments?

That type would be hot.

91 points! One right! Whoo hoo!

When does next year's game start?

Well Joel Edgerton isn't actually "across the pond" for you guys, seeing as he's an Aussie. Or does that count as "across the other pond" or something like that?

It doesn't stop him from being absolutely scrummy though

I am happy he won.

Awesome choices!

Who's the guy next to Colin Farrell?

NATHANIEL R said...

sam somebody... sam worthington?

Anonymous said...

sam worthington it is indeed... delicious aussie actor who i adore. career highlights are dirty deeds (with john goodman and toni collette) and gettin' square with the excellent and no-less-hunky david wenham.

Yep Sam Worthington. Also an Aussie. He's starring in James Cameron's Avatar! Now that's a nice launch pad into Hollywood.

Thanks everyone, especially Nathaniel for finding such great pics. I just had to come up with some names, though it was hard to keep it to just 6! :)

I noted a theme happening so decided to stick to Aussie and UK lads.

Next week, don't worry, all going well, Nathaniel will redress the gender imbalance...

I thought Sam Worthington was actually Emile Hirsch... so I wasn't quite getting the Aussie/UK theme. But that is indeed a great "type." Gotta love those lilting, broguey guys. Mmmmm...

ya i thought it was emile hirsh too! by the way colin farrell is from ireland not the uk

And McGregor and McAvoy are from Scotland. I was meaning UK as including Scotland and Ireland.

Sam Worthington is definitely a dish and a half. He's really good in Somersault too, just fyi.

Mathilde, David Wenham can be dashing but he's far from it in Gettin' Square. If he were a woman he'd get the Oscar for "deglamming".

scotland is part of the uk....ireland is NOT. the uk=england, scotland, wales an northern ireland

You guys can keep Colin Farrell, seriously. Has anyone seen the trailer for his new film, In Bruges? Dear God.

"If I were born on a farm and were retarded, Bruges might impress me. But I wasn't. So it doesn't."

ew.

D'oh, sorry anonymous, silly me. I should have said UK & Eire or UK & Ireland. Sorry to any Irish people I may have offended!
