What are you...

...dressing up as for Halloween tonight? Is it movie related?* If you live outside of a costume-party zone, what would you dress up as on the big night?

If you e-mail me a photo, I will do a post of movie-related costume photos as worn by Film Experience readers. Don't be shy!

(*Mine is not. I have been roped into going as an evil faerie. There are 7 of us but I think we look more like alien bugs. Oops)

My twin sister and her friends are going to a party as the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus. Since I was going to the party too she convinced me to go as Billy the Butcher.

My and girlfriend and I were supposed to go as Calvin and Hobbes but somehow she ended up convincing me to be Ash and Pikachu.

The Green Lantern! This is probably my last opportunity to do it without being just one of many.

I went as Gemma Ward's character from The Strangers, because the party was hosted by her younger brothers. They got it... no one else did.

I'm going as Brando in multiple films. I have a black eye (On the Waterfront), a biker hat (The Wild One), a sleeveless shirt (Streetcar), and an orange (The Godfather).

Not tonight, but at the costume event next week I'll be a Bond girl.

this year it's a generic Mad Hatter. Last year I was Charlie Chaplin, painted gray so I was in black and white.

I've been wanting to be Carrie Bradshaw in the opening credits for the show for two years in a row.
However circumstances never allow me and my first incursion into drag will have to be postponed.
The closest I come to being her at the moment is sitting in front of my computer in my apartment with a Marlboro light dangling on my lips.

Going to the parade - and maybe a club after - as Neo-Superman. Basically, I waited to the last minute to get a costume - first time dressing up for Halloween since I was seven - so I bought a generic cyber guy/priest costume, a Red and Black Superman Shirt and Red Make-Up to paint the jacket with Red Superman Symbols. Hope it turns out well, lol!

A few weeks ago I went as Russell from 'Up', tonight I am not prepared.

Really wanted to be a zombie as I like the gore aspect and think Halloween should be about the scary.

I would have done Hillary Swank, but couldn't find a set of teeth big enough. A friend suggested chiklets

I am going as Aladdin

I'm in Beijing. My Halloween is over. I went as a slaughtered prom queen. Fun, fun times.

I am going as Cher from Clueless!
I only recently realized the best part of wearing that costume: I now have license to quote the movie ALL DAY.
I couldn't be more excited.

I've always wanted to go to a costume party dressed as Alex from A Clockwork Orange.

If I was a parent I'd totally dress my child up as him just to scare the adults.

Not movie related, but I went as a bubble bath.

I'm afraid my costume was not movie related, although my friends and I did make a scene! : )

my group of friends was full of awesome characters. The Bride of Frankenstein, Veronica Sawyer, Professor Trelawny (i'm not a Harry Potter person, but her costume was awesome), Mrs. Lovett, Dana Scully, and Velma from Scooby Doo. i know those last two are from television, but seriously, we had the best costumes i saw all day.

I went as Ed Harris in The Hours, and wound up being the only one of my group of four to actually dress up. Party poopers.

I saw a group of guys dressed as the Reservoir Dogs, including the cop with no ear.
