Last line is a give-away. So beautiful. I love that movie.

Los Abrazos rotos, Almodovar has something great about ending lines.
Check the ending line of "Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios"

This movie has a lot of beautiful ideas, but it's not perfectly written like Almodóvar's best movies.

Its sctructure has many flaws, the screenplay is unbalanced (the past scenes are all stronger than the present ones - as a matter of fact, except for the reediting plot, the present is unnecessary. Come on?, do we really need to know Homar is the father os Portillo's son? We feel nothing about it, we barely can remember this guy during the whole movie).

Almodóvar's best movies all have great screenplays. This is not one of them. But it's a beautiful movie, still.

Damn I should have grabbed this when I was at the library a few weeks ago and I might've been in with a chance.

Also saw a huge chunk of the middle of Volver today and the parts I watched were even better than the first time i had seen them. Best Actress that year was bangin'!
