That's because I'm so hilarious!

This looks like an outtake from the Laws of Attraction poster.

Speaking of which, I never really understood all the hate for that film. I love to see my favorite actresses fluff it up occasionally in a harmless, glossy romantic comedy. Cate Blanchett needs to do one desperately.

I am TOTALLY with Hayden on watching oh-so-serious actresses fluff it up. Part of the reason "Mamma Mia" was watchable for me was due to the undeniable joy I get from seeing Meryl jump around and have fun; I got a similar kick from seeing Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti revel in the absurdity of "Shoot 'Em Up."

However, I must admit, I did find "Laws of Attraction" pretty awful, though Moore was delightful in it.

I think it's the glam factor. It's fun to watch a gorgeous actress who spends a lot of time in period garb or deglamming get dolled up in stylish duds under professional lighting, connecting with her sexy side, and bringing credibility to a lame genre.

It's like Gwyneth Paltrow in View From the Top: the film was horrendous, but it was worth watching just to see her looking so radiant. The leads in rom-coms just glow.

That being said, I think that Cate Blanchett and George Clooney need to reteam pronto for an update of Woman of the Year. It would be orgasmic.

That's so nice...but how do I let her know that my feeling for her are different?

This is going to be awkward.

I'm with the crowd on this one, and rob is 100% right - the best parts of Mamma Mia had to do with serious middle-aged ladies kicking up their heels and having a grand old time.

Laws of Attraction had some potential, but kind of fell flat. Pierce Brosnan is hilarious.

I admit I've see "Laws of Attraction" about 4 times. It has a great cast, and Julianne is so sweet. Now when you watch it, realize that the rockstar idiot client is Michael Sheen, who was so great as the PM in "The Queen" and will play Frost in "Frost/Nixon".

Laws of Attraction was indeed very good, but it still is no Adam's Rib!!
