Happy Inauguration Day!

I was so giddy last night that I spent hours goofing on Obamicon.Me creating these.

Enjoy...

images from Fight Club (1999), Doubt (2008), Alfred Hitchcock, Romeo + Juliet (1996), The Hours (2002), Scarlett Johansson and Isaac Mizrahi, Far From Heaven (2002) and Hilary Swank's second Oscar win.

Hahahahaha, they're brilliant. Oh, God. I have an exam in two days which I'm trying to study hard for, but I've spent the morning downloading and messing about with that ridiculous Microsoft Songsmith, and now you give me this?

Oh and I saw the funniest one on a different blog: Mavis Beacon's face with TYPE written underneath.

Ha-HA! What a great and hilarious thing to wake up to! I really like POPE, MOPE, and GROPE, but I'm crazy for The Audacity of NOPE.

NATHANIEL R said...

I almost did Dope but at some point i had to quit ;)

and the contestants vying for DOPE were too legion to decide.

LOL. I'm glad your excitement for Obama is bleeding into your movie loving.

HA! Love these... especially the ROPE and the MOPE. The GROPE just makes me jealous so I'm gonna try not to look at it again.

There has to be a poster for "DOPE" too. And it could be used in sooo many ways!

I LOVE the NOPE!!!

Nope squared is more like it!

I love "Cope" but "Nope" is dope.

No room for TAUPE? They say taupe is very soothing.

Excellent!!

NATHANIEL R said...

Neel -TAUPE is soothing but i couldn't figure out how to work it in blues and reds y'know ;)

Am I the only one who doesn't get the "Nope"?

MOPE is hilarious, though.

What about Trope?

I can't believe you didn't do one for Trope.

Nicely done, Nat.

You know that all your negative thoughts towards Swank only makes her stronger and look more like a man. Wait, is that what you're trying to do?

I'll admit: I shamelessly plagiarized this from you.

Beware Nathaniel, Amelia and its baitiness is just around the corner...

And then Betty Ann Waters will surely be a force to reckon with in the near future

I've been coming to this site for like three years, but I honestly think I'm going to stop giving you any sort of traffic come Oscar nomination morning. Seriously, you've been going on about Hilary Swank and Clint Eastwood for way too long. I get that they win awards you don't like, but it's like they're your only targets. Keep thinking Anne Hathaway and Brad Pitt are the pinnacle of acting, though. The entire comment section is just a bunch of sycophants who parrot whatever you say and I'm really tired of the attitude. So, bye.

i have to agree with you, anonymous. have to say nat has a personal vendetta against swank and eastwood. add blanchett, and zelwegger. i believe that these actors do not deserve to be trashed. these actors did not beg nor pay for recognition. blame the ones who bestowed the accolades on them, not them.
i do believe that swank shouldn't have won two oscars, but hey it is not her fault. nat, you shouldn't inspire hate. that is just plain wrong.

PIPER said...

Ah Shucks Nat,

You lost two anonymouses. You don't even know who to write to say I'm sorry. Gosh darnit.

Well, if we're taking votes I'm all for Nat hating on Hilary. But not Clint. Because he's old and it might be too much for him. You know, his heart.

NATHANIEL R said...

Piper -- Clint cares so much what I think. It keeps him up at night. When i was talking to him last week he called me ALL sorts of names --he has as many names for me as he had for the Hmong characters in Gran Torino.

on another note. I'm TOTALLY amused/confused that someone thinks I think Brad & Angie are the pinnacle of screen acting. especially in THIS year where i don't like either of their performances that might get Oscar nominated. ;)

HATE. not a good word. practice what you preach, nat.

NATHANIEL R said...

HATE?

seriously people. You need to look around the web more. This is a very peace & love website in comparison to most that deal with actors & actresses & hollywood. I mean have you read any other sites?

the only time I've been outright vicious about Hilary Swank (who i normally just tease with stupid horn and fire visuals) is when she outed her husband as an addict. I thought that deserved a beat down. That's so not cool.

but most of the time i'm just joking around.
