Taste Test

Each year when we throw an Oscar party we whip up food (mostly hors d'oeuvres and desserts) that relate to the Best Picture nominees. We're still working on the menu this year so I marvel at the speed with which TFE fan BBats (Alex Barbatsis) worked up his latest sick and silly "Taste Test" on YouTube. I thought I'd share since I'm a little loopy after this long ass day.

"smoky tabasco sauce because Kate Winslet is hawwwwwwwt"
Hee. I love the internets.

LOVE the hesitation before putting the spoonful of goop into his mouth. Piss funny!

Everyone makes a themed dish at my Oscar party every year too! Love that.

This is so funny! I'm going to have to have an oscar party.

Nathaniel are you going to do a podcast on the nominations? Or possibly wait until after the SAG awards.

"Benjamin Button"
A really big, gorgeously decorated chafing dish with nothing but steam in it. And I'm the only one who's hungry.

What 'The Know Nothing Know It All' just described for Benjamin Button reminds me of the scene in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation where they carve into that tasty looking turkey and gas shoots out.

Ah ha ha hahaaaaaa ha ha!!!

Candy buttons for Benjamin Button!

70s food like Tang for Frost/Nixon!

Baby everything for The Reader, except call it "underage"-- underage spinach, underage carrots...

This is the new game to keep me entertained now that the nominations have been announced.

Last year I made nasty-ass JunOreos from scratch. Suffice to say, they didn't turn out too well...

Very funny... Some of his other stuff (the beamer ep) is pretty good too.
