"Heavens to Betsy, Birdie!"

Best line ever.

Ah, I remember seeing this in cinema. Very good film, sadly seems to have been forgotten by most people.

How old was Scarlett when she filmed this, sixteen?

I remember taking a punt of this movie and seeing it in the cinema too and was thoroughly impressed.

Even at that stage, Scarlett was making me take notice. That car scene was damn memorable.

it's quite undervalued.

not sure what happened to it as Coen Bros goes because people seem to remember the other good ones.

McDormand and Thornton were both grrrr-reat in it.

Yeah this one always seems to get forgotten. Who knows why? It's got a great well-known cast, was Oscar-nominated, etc.

Oh well, we all remember it, so that's good enough I suppose.

i love this movie and the cinemotography is top notch.

this is far superior to more recent coen bros. efforts (aka the lady killers...aughh...)

scar-jo is great great in this coen-noir film.
