This made me smile: "Thelma & Louise reunited"
This raised an eyebrow: "A Korean Brokeback Mountain"
This we could argue for hours: "Liza Thinks Cher is Bigger"
...and a cinephile dream: "Treasure Trove"

Here's a lazy link from me:
www.imdb.com/title/tt0463287/
You might want to mark down La Belle Bete (if you haven't already) as a foreign language film contender for 2006. It has wrapped filming, is from a novel by Marie-Claire Blais, she did the screenplay too, starring Marc-André Grondin (CRAZY) and Carole Laure. It could be wonderful.
And here's a link for a hump-day hottie suggestion:

mmmyes, me likey the star of C.R.A.Z.Y.
The Korean film reminds me of "Farewell My Concubine", and I don't get the connection to Brokeback unless it's purely based on surprisingly good box office.
Also, where have you seen C.R.A.Z.Y.? I don't think it was released in the States. How that got missed is a crime.
i got a screener
